Engineering Artistry: The Lykan HyperSport Exhibition

At the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show, one of the most prestigious automotive events globally, Shenyang Weizhong Revolving Machinery Co., Ltd. was selected to provide the centerpiece motion technology for the W Motors Lykan HyperSport. For a hypercar valued at $10.65 million—famed for its diamond-encrusted headlights and carbon-fiber chassis—only the highest level of mechanical precision would suffice.

We designed a bespoke 5.5-meter diameter display turntable with an ultra-low profile of just 150mm. Engineered to support up to 3,000 kg, the platform utilized our ultra-smooth drive system to ensure vibration-free, silent rotation. This allowed the global audience to appreciate the Lykan’s sculpted bodywork and unique reverse-dihedral doors from every conceivable angle, while a brushed aluminum surface perfectly mirrored the vehicle's futuristic aesthetic.

Beyond raw strength, our display solutions focus on programmable motion control. For the Lykan exhibit, the system was calibrated for seamless pauses, allowing media and enthusiasts to capture the car’s intricate details under the intense exhibition spotlights. This project underscores why top-tier luxury brands like Audi, Nissan, and W Motors trust Weizhong for their most critical product launches.

By merging heavy-duty industrial reliability with the finesse required for luxury showcases, Weizhong transforms static automotive exhibits into dynamic narratives. The 2015 Shanghai Motor Show remains a benchmark project, proving that our rotating platforms are the definitive choice for elevating high-value assets into unforgettable spectacles.
